“Puducherry Police Welfare Society” is the successor of the erstwhile “MUTUELLE MILITAIRE DES FORCES PUBLIQUES”, which existed during the French Regime from 1947. After DE JURE in 1963, it was christened “Pondicherry Police Welfare Society” and registered in July 1975 under the Societies Registration Act, 1975. The Society extends welfare support to all ranks of Puducherry Police.
