TOPOGRAPHY
The
Lawspet Police station was an Out-Post to D’ Nagar Police Station
up to 30.06.1991. On 01.07.1991 it was upgraded as Police Station
and was functioned under Muthialpet Circle vide GO. Ms. No.12, dated
19.03.2002. Now the Lawspet police station comes under circle control
of Lawspet Circle.
This police Station
as an Out Post called Government Quarters Out Post to cater the
needs of Government Quarters, new colonies, GO's Quarters, AirPort
and Colleges situated there.
It is housed in a rented building on the main road of
Lawspet since 01.07.2002 which comes under Oulgarate Municipality
situated at a distance of 3 Kms away from Pondicherry town.
