TOPOGRAPHY
This Police station is newly constructed and
inaugurated on 07.05.2008 situated at Vazhudavur Main Road, Shanmugapuram, Thattanchavady village
about 6 kms away from Puducherry town. This was initially
a OP for D' Nagar Police Station since 06.02.1984 and later
upgraded as Police Station
on 22.06.1991.
The Bordering Police Stations of this PS are
Reddiarpalayam PS on the south, Villianur PS on the west, Vanoor
PS (Tamil Nadu) on the North and D, Nagar PS on the Eastern
side. This Police Station contained Type-III three quarters and
Type-IV 12 quarters.
