TOPOGRAPHY
Karayambuthur Out
police station is located in the village of Karaymbuthur in
Bahour commune. The building is situated on the Eastern Bank of
Bangaru Vaikal which is contributory to Singiri lake (Bahour
lake) receives water from river Pennaiyar. This Out Post is at
distance of about 36 Kmt away from Pondicherry on the
Southwestern direction. This Out Post comes under the
Jurisdiction of Bahour Police Station. The Bordering Police
station of the Out Post is Kandamangalam Police Station on the
North, Nellikuppam Police Station on the south, Reddichavady
Police Station on the East and Valavanur Police Station on the
West. This is a small pocket land of Pondicherry State engulfed
by Tamil Nadhu limits. The entire aria of this out post is
covered by agricultural lands.
