MITRA is a free SOS mobile app launched by His Excellency the Lt. Governor of Puducherry on 28.02.2016 in the presence of Hon’ble CM, Chief Secretary, and IT Secretary, dedicated to the citizens of Puducherry UT.

Envisioned by the Hon’ble Prime Minister during the DGP/IGP Conference – October 2015, it acts as a PANIC BUTTON for women and child safety.

MITRA is India’s first-of-its-kind mobile app that sends emergency alerts to caretakers without even opening the mobile or the application.

Based on the user’s profile and emergency contacts, the app can be used anywhere in India and also sends an email notification if the device is online.
